About Bharat SLRCC Wild House
Bharat SLRCC Wild House is a nature and life conservation campus of the State Land Resource Conservation Committee (Bharat SLRCC). It is a space where people, cattle, plants, birds and small creatures are encouraged to live and interact in their natural way.
The name “Wild House” represents a house of life that is not trapped inside rigid social boxes. It is a place where human life lives in harmony with land, soil, water and all living beings, with a gentle touch of the wild. This campus is dedicated to land resource conservation, organic farming, cow‑based inputs, nurseries, training programmes and the development of nature‑friendly habitats.
Vision of Wild House
- To guide human life towards a more natural, free and wild‑touch way of living, in deep respect for land, soil and water.
- To demonstrate a model where humans, animals, plants and small creatures can share one “house” – one campus – in harmony, each in their own natural role.
- To create a practical and visible example of land resource conservation combined with daily life for community inspiration.
- To serve as a core campus of the Save 1 Earth Movement, showing how land, cows, trees, water and people can be restored together.
Main Activities at Wild House
- Organic and nature‑friendly farming: Eco‑friendly farming models using local resources and cow‑based inputs for soil regeneration.
- Goshala and cow‑based land restoration: Caring for indigenous cows and using dung/urine to prepare natural composts to revive degraded land.
- Nursery and tree‑based work: Preparing saplings needed for the Save 1 Earth Movement and Raja Vana initiatives.
- Training, workshops and exposure visits: Organising programmes for youth, farmers, and community leaders on conservation and rural livelihoods.
- Nature‑friendly habitat development: Creating spaces friendly to birds, insects, and small creatures through natural vegetation.
Stay at Wild House (Public)
The campus provides simple, nature‑oriented accommodation for people who wish to stay, learn and live close to land. Wild House is not a luxury resort; it is a quiet, learning‑focused eco‑campus.
Guest Responsibilities:
- Respect campus rules, maintain peace, and treat all living beings with care.
- Avoid loud noise, alcohol, drugs, and any behavior that disturbs the environment.
- By paying the stay fee, guests directly support the Save 1 Earth Movement projects.
Board Members at Wild House
Bharat SLRCC board members and senior advisors are provided dedicated stay facilities to ensure leadership decisions are made close to the ground.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Board members actively review ongoing projects like the Goshala, interact with local farmers/volunteers, and offer strategic guidance to align field activities with Bharat SLRCC's core values.
Organic Food and Products
The campus grows organic food and produces natural products as part of its land restoration work. Visitors have the opportunity to purchase items like:
- Organic vegetables, grains, or pulses grown on campus.
- Cow‑based natural inputs and composts.
- Healthy plant saplings from the movement's nursery.
Sales are kept simple and fair. Any amount earned is directly used to support the Wild House campus, Goshala maintenance, and the wider Save 1 Earth Movement.
